My new single, “Dad,” is now up on iTunes and Amazon!
“Dad” paints a beautiful picture of the imperative role that every father plays in each stage of his child’s life and gives comfort and hope to those who are without a father figure. “Dad” is written from the perspective of a daughter who lost her dad and searched until she found someone to pick up where her Dad left off. She realizes that her Dad was with her the whole time and led her every step of the way.
I can’t help but think of my Heavenly Daddy when I sing this song. God lovingly chose my earthly father before I was even conceived. He carefully planned every detail of that Daddy/Daughter relationship and guided us every step of the way. Through the laughter and tears (and there have been PLENTY of both!), God has been with us all along.
“Dad” is orchestrated beautifully by my brilliant composer friend, James Stonehouse, and the poignant lyrics are written by my new friend, the very talented LG Taylor.
