Amy is Nominated for 2 Detroit Music Awards! Vote by March 29th!!!

DMA2015Dear Family, Friends and Fans,

Sorry for the last minute notice, but my site has been in repair the past few weeks…

I am honored to be nominated for the 2015 Detroit Music Awards and there are just 4 days left to vote! I am nominated under the Gospel/Christian category for…

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Vocalist!  and…

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Songwriter!

Just click on the link below, select the Gospel/Christian category and vote by the end of March 29th! These are the same 2 awards that I won in the 2004 Detroit Music Awards, so it would be so exciting to win them 11 years later! 🙂

As you know, this past year, I have worked hard finishing my first LP, “Meant To Be,” a tribute to Danielle Heard (including one song written by myself, entitled “An Angel’s Got Her Wings“). “Meant To Be” was released too late in the year to be considered for a nomination, but look for it in the 2016 DMAs!

You may also remember that I performed and recorded with Christian rock band, Sweet Crystal (keyboard-driven, theatrically-inspired music), collaborating in the writing on “Some People May Ask” and “The Light of Christmas.”

I have also been writing, recording and preparing to perform with Mo Jones in Three Fold Mercy (a combination of Contemporary Christian, Rock, Progressive Jazz, Funk and Blues). You can hear one of our previous recordings on ReverbNation… “For She Loved Much.” There are many more to come!

And finally, I continue to work with a very talented composer and good friend, James Stonehouse, on our upcoming Christmas album. You may remember the single, “Do You Hear What I Hear?” released in 2013. This past year, we finished a Heard/Stonehouse original, “Christmas Innocence.” Look for it this Christmas! And I can be heard on some movie scores penned by James as well.

So, it’s been a year for writing and recording! 🙂 And I have greatly enjoyed my guest appearances with Sweet Crystal! There will be more of those to come as well, since they have just released their newest CD, “Quad,” featuring a new rock version of “Some People May Ask!”

Thank you all so much for your support!

P.S. While you are in the Gospel/Christian category, I’m sure my friends in Sweet Crystal would love to have your support for…

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Act

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Recording   and…

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Musician (Bill Blatter ~ Guitar)
